Mile One Centre is an indoor arena and entertainment venue located in downtown St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It is home to the St. John’s IceCaps of the American Hockey League.

Getting to the show

City Wide Taxi is the exclusive provider of ground transportation services for the public at St. John’s International Airport. Taxi cabs queue outside the Arrivals Area. The fare to Mile One Centre / Delta is $25.

Car Rental
The airport has six car rental companies on-site. It’s recommend that you contact the car rental companies directly in advance of your visit to ensure availability.

Directions by Car
If traveling towards St. John’s on the TransCanada Highway, take exit 41A (Mount Pearl – Downtown St. John’s) to Pitts Memorial Drive.

Continue on Pitts Memorial Drive. At the edge of downtown, the road will turn into New Gower St. Continue to the intersection of New Gower St. and Barters Hill where you will see Mile One Centre on the left side.

Public Transit
For information about public transit schedules visit Metrobus.com. If arriving St. John’s International Airport, please note there is no public transit or shuttle service other than for specific hotels operating directly.

Daytime parking is available in public lots at 351 Water St and 330 Duckworth St (Metropark). After hours parking is available in the City Hall Parking Garage at 10 New Gower St. There is no on-site parking at Mile One Centre.

Booking Your Travel

On a daily basis, St. John’s International Airport has approximately 88 arriving and departing flights to and from 14 destinations in Canada, the US and Europe (on a seasonal basis), with connections to anywhere in the world. The Airport is served by seven major airlines: Air Canada, WestJet, Porter Airlines, United Airlines, Provincial Airlines, National Airlines, and Air Saint Pierre. In addition, Sunwing and Air Transat provide seasonal service to destinations within Canada and to the Caribbean.

St. John’s International Airport is located in the capital city of St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. The Airport is considered a “downtown” airport as it is situated just minutes from the downtown core.
